Cycles and symptoms
Period dates, flow, intervals and symptoms across nine categories with severity. Symptoms are reported as rates per observed day, so a long phase never looks busier simply because it is longer.

The patient-owned record
Most health data is organised around an event: a visit, a benefit year, a pregnancy or a subscription. Shiora is organised around a person. The record begins when you start logging and does not end.
What is in it
Cycle history captured at 32 becomes measured context when patterns change at 47. Same owner. Same longitudinal history. Fifteen years of continuity.
You log
Period dates, flow, intervals and symptoms across nine categories with severity. Symptoms are reported as rates per observed day, so a long phase never looks busier simply because it is longer.
It classifies
Bleeding pattern against FIGO AUB System 1. Reproductive stage against STRAW+10. Mood against validated instruments. Every result is traceable to a published threshold.
It carries
Medications, hormone panels, lab results, imaging reports and fertility treatment cycles can be imported through HL7 FHIR R4 where a provider supports it.
You control
Who accessed what, when and under which consent. The history is hash-chained so it cannot be rewritten.
Why it compounds
A cycle logged this month is worth little on its own. The same cycle inside eleven years of history is what lets Shiora show that your pattern has changed and what published criteria say about that change.
This is why the record is free and always will be: a record you cancel at 34 is not there at 47, when it matters most.
Clinical integrity
Shiora classifies against published clinical criteria rather than a model, so every result can be audited line by line. Where a medication, pregnancy, surgery or condition means those criteria do not apply, Shiora recognises it and says so rather than returning a result that looks confident and is wrong.
